“ Best pancakes in Jersey City!! I had breakfast here at 3pm on Friday before kids left to return to college! Life Pancake Restaurant has all day breakfast so where to go when you want hearty lunch and haven't eaten breakfast yet?? It's always very busy, hustling and bustling, they have great food servers, an excellent crowd and a huge menu!! Highly recommended!! ”
“ The space is very clean and furnished is this unique style. It can get a bit loud for my tastes. The waitress was friendly, charming even. She was also patient when we realised the menu was a Book. The greek yogurt was substantial and came to the table in the cutest mason jar (a little difficult to get to the honey at the bottom but totally worth it). It would have been nice if the eggs in the greek wrap came salted and peppered but it was still very delicious. The german chocolate pancakes were very filling. They come with coconut and pecans baked in and the top pancake is topped with nutella, chocolate sauce, nutella, whipped cream, and powdered sugar. Yes, it was a lot but it was amazing! I would not reorder the pizza fries. They were good but the fries were almost definitely freezer fries and I wouldn't pay 13 dollars for that. My gf wants it to be known that this diner got a 10/10 from her. She is excited to try more things on this expansive menu. For a diner, this place was awesome. ”
“ I had a hankering for French toast (but didn't want to make it) and LPC came highly recommended through my search. Ordering carry out over the phone was super easy, the individual that took my order was very pleasant. All of the photos matched, which made finding LPC easier for me (I'm a visual learner, lol). LPC is located across from the Medical Center, so the name is fitting. I walked in and my order was ready at the expected time. I must say - this was the best brunch I've had in JC! The French toast and bacon were very savory. I also had a spinach & feta omelette that was very well made and tasty. I can't wait to return and dine-in. The ambiance & decor are very cute and clean. ”
“ After a run in liberty state park me and a friend decided to head to Life Pancake Company at Jersey Ave and Grand St. We are happy we stopped. The menu is huge and the service was fast and on point. If you are in the area and want a nice diner like place for breakfast this is a great option. ”

I love this spot because they have both gluten free and buckwheat substitutes for any pancake or waffle menu item - the server seems to expect it and they don't ask questions. Inside is spacious and the lighting is good - very OPH/IHOP vibes. No wait at noon on a Sunday in July. Our waitress seemed a little scattered but the service was really quick, and the food is just out-of-the-box RELIABLE. They have a dedicated parking lot and a few outdoor tables. I will continue to be a customer here! ”
